Karate is our newest adventure. Jaycie and Nicholas tested for and received their yellow belts today, and we are so proud of them! They have only been going for 3 weeks and are progressing very well.
They belong to Rising Sun Karate. This is a place that was started by Jason David Frank aka "Tommy" from Power Rangers! He is going to be coming to the dojo on Monday and Tuesday to teach classes and talk to the students. We will have pictures of that for sure!
I am really impressed with Rising Sun. The instructors are great, and they focus a lot on respect for everyone, especially the student's parents and teachers. The kids really love it.
